The End is Near!

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was written in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:36;37 NIV.

There is a picture that many Christians post on social media. It shows the Father and Jesus getting ready to return. I do not believe this is happenstance. I see it coming up on my pages daily. Because believers see the signs and understand Jesus will return soon. He said we would witness seasons and signs but did not know the exact time.

The signs are present. Only one happened in our generation but others will increase.

1. Knowledge will increase.

2. Israel will become a nation.

3. Famine, earthquakes, and pestilence.

4. Some scholars think nuclear war.

5. Two witnesses seen by the world.

6. Persecution of believers.

7. Scoffers and mockers.

Knowledge has increased rapidly in the past one hundred years. Israel also became a nation in the 20th century. Natural disasters increased. News and media could show two witnesses to the world. The 20th century had more persecution than all previous centuries combined.

I teach Bible study weekly on TikTok Live. 98% of the people who attend are atheists and non-believers. Some are curious, others mock me. I am happy they attend either way. The Word goes in whether they want it to.

We must be ready for Jesus, whether He comes today or in a thousand years. To live daily like it is our last. We do not live like Hedonists and party until we die. We are to serve Jesus and spend time with Him daily. The end may be near. Just look at the news. But we must live daily for our Lord and Savior.

We see the seasons, Lord. Give us strength to live for You through all these signs. Let us stand in Your strength in these increases of occurrence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
