As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the  and bread for the eater so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV.

Spring is here, and I built dome-raised gardens. I am eating healthier after losing over a hundred pounds. Then, I plan to grow many foods I eat and drink. I enjoy gardening and canning.

Rain and snow fall from heaven and saturate the soil. The Word comes down from heaven and soaks our lives. Moisture is necessary for the release of dirt's potential. His living water douses our bodies, made of the seventeen elements that compose dirt, releasing the potential that we could never accomplish without Him.

This verse is fantastic. God’s Word comes down to the earth like rain. It buds and flourishes seed in a three-stage process. It will not return empty, then accomplish what He desires, and prosper. We must grasp His elevated ways.

God’s Word never returns to Him empty. It is life, and God-breathed it. Then, it builds our confidence in sharing His Word. It is powerful and active. The Lord will accomplish what pleases Him in our lives. We become pleased with Him.

Thank You for Your Word, Lord. Prompt us to read it daily and lead us to live it. Thank You for the living Word strengthening us. You are the Word. We need the Living Water as we journey each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
