Minor Details

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13 NIV

A caretaker needs to recognize little details. For example, yesterday I put on a client’s shoes. I noticed the lips of the shoes were inside. Imagine walking around all day like that. It would feel uneasy. One slight issue could cause a day of discomfort. One must check the small things.

God as our caretaker is in the details. I don’t know how many times I got caught in the eleventh hour thinking He would not pull through. Then He did. I later reflected and saw Him in every minute part of the problem.

He placed the earth in our solar system to sustain us. The clouds cause tons of rain to fall and hydrate us. The earth and its resources give life to feed us. Then He provides for each individual when we ask of it.

I remember these three ladies before I became a believer. They talked about how Jesus took care of all their needs. I thought they were unintelligent. God, who manages the entire universe, also cares for each individual soul. I found after salvation; He does. God cares about the small stuff.

Jesus finds value in everything and everyone. He loves all of us and desires us to proclaim Him as Lord. Then, it will direct us through any storm that comes our way. The primary and minor parts of any problem. Remember, God loves us as we enter this day. No matter how messed up we are.

Thank You for being in the little details, Lord. If anyone is going through a mess today, help them. Pay attention to the minor details, whatever it may be. Thank You for intervening in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
