Less Saul's, More Paul's

ree

For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 NIV.

I get attacked on social media often. People love to poke fun at minor issues like my weight or kitchen color schemes. Then bigger ones like our Lord and the Bible. I need the full armor of God when I go on Live and teach. I retaliate through prayer and His Word when ridiculed.

The world mocks Jesus and the Bible. I got told it is an archaic book of fairytales. When it is much more, it is the believer's sword used to attack what comes against us and others.

Why would I continue to teach there?

I witnessed the impact on atheists and naysayers. It helped friends with Alzheimer's disease when I worked as a Chaplain and Recreational Therapist. The Lord got them past confusion, and they had better lives. His Word fights depression, anxiety, and the enemy's schemes.

Saul persecuted Christians. A bright light knocked him off his horse on Damascus Road. Jesus confronted him. He got blinded. When the scales fell off his eyes, he saw and became Paul—the greatest evangelist ever. Then wrote three-quarters of the New Testament through the Holy Spirit's inspiration. We need fewer Sauls and more Pauls.

There is healing power in His Word. many get fooled by this world of spiritual darkness. Then so-called believers think it is a book of morals. They battle unarmored and unprotected.

His Word has the power of peace and salvation. The enemy wants us to believe the opposite. When bullied, we attack back through prayer and His Holy Word.

Go after our mockers, Lord. Knock them off their high horses. Shine light into their lives. Then redirect their passion in dead study to the fire of Jesus and Your powerful Word! In Jesus' name, amen.
