Goats in High Places

ree

We know that we are children of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 1 John 5:19 NIV.

All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Matthew 25:22-23 NIV.

This week, people decorated their houses. Christmastime is here. I saw nativities, lights, and joyous décor.

I also witnessed a shocking display at the Iowa Capitol building. The Church of satan displayed a figure of Baphomet. A Christian saw it and acted like Gideon.

He chopped off the devil’s head.

Why does satan get represented with a goat’s head? It is a reminder of the future. That God will separate us like sheep and goats. The devil loves to be clever in his deceptions. The Bible implies a goat to symbolize sin. It is where we get scapegoats from. They laid the sins of the people on the goat and sent it away. Some Christian theologians associate it with evil.

Culture calls people the goats when they are the best. I do not believe these are coincidences. The devil enjoys mocking God. The Bible calls him the evil one (Poneros). This is where we get the English word pornography. It is defined as dragging everyone connected to destruction. He is a goat and not a good kind. The devil leads this world to obliteration.

Believers must pray to get people away from this goat mentality. Culturally tolerant people will get drugs to Hades forever. This nation has high places, and we should not be scared to tear them down. Through prayer or action, satan must be swept out of our government, schools, and high places. Evil has ruled too long, and it’s time for a change. Pray for a breakthrough in our nation.

Your Spirit is showing forth greater in these times, Lord. We pray for a breakthrough. Instill boldness in believers and tear down the high places where satan has established evil. In Jesus’ name, amen.
