Magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3 NIV.

Sherlock Holmes was a fictional character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A consulting detective with the ability to gather evidence through honed skills, observation, and deductive reasoning. His catchphrase was Elementary, my dear Watson when he solved a crime.

Detectives use many tools to solve a crime. James Bond had the greatest ones: laser pens, cars with oil spills, and ejector seats. A vital one for Sherlock Holmes was a magnifying glass. It revealed hidden truths. He could investigate the room for clues and fingerprints. Our Lord is also a magnifier. He can reveal a lot when we ask Him.

He can do the same as we magnify and glorify Him. He reveals that when people lie, they deceive us. What directions are we to go? What our futures hold. We search the mysteries of life, and when there is confusion, God can bring to light a clear understanding. He is the mighty Magnifier.

God reveals the secrets of life. Our issue is we attempt to figure them out ourselves. We want to be detectives and try to solve impossible scenarios. Only one's God knows. He can solve the mystery of our lost keys or the reasons for pain. It is all elementary of Jesus. We only need to pray and request His consultation.

Lord, we trust in Your magnifying power. We ask You to reveal any issues that may be hidden from us today, to expose anyone or anything that may be against us, and to provide hints about the future and upcoming events. We rely on Your guidance to steer our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
