Administrative Change

After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’ Acts 13:22 NIV.
A good friend asked me how believers determine who to vote for. This year, there is an election. I find it funny that everyone gets blown out of proportion. I have prayed and looked to His Word for every election.
In the above verse, a change of administration occurred. Saul was rejected. Then, the Lord distinguished David. He had a heart for God. David was anointed, which led to a new economy.
Our problem is we like to stay in denial. The Lord gave us a purpose, and we can step into it. We can become the anointed administration.
We can embrace what God rejected. For example, Israel had freedom from bondage but lamented the joys of captivity. The people lacked the Lord's anointing.
People believe only Bishops, Superintendents, and leaders get anointed. Everyone can receive this. Like David, the rutty shepherd who trusted the Lord. He killed a nine-foot giant and had great faith. God anointed him to become an influential leader.
We don’t earn power. We are born into it and born anew in royalty as sons and daughters. The key of David opens the floodgates of heaven for breakthroughs. His anointing is in all of us. It is a choice to surrender and open it.
Lead us to unlock Your anointing, Lord. Let us see what Your full potential is in all of us. Guide us to the place You desire us to be today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
